Here Comes Summer

As you may have seen, I've been posting with a bit more frequency as of late. A drawing class helps with that, to be sure. On my own I have trouble ever finishing (and sometimes starting) anything. ;\ Well, there are a number of other drawings I should submit. I'll try to get them on some time soon.

I'm doing well as this semester comes to an end. We'll see how a summer job goes from here.

You know, it's interesting what can happen in the space of only four months. I'm almost amazed myself at my most recent drawing. It far exceeds anything I've done before. On top of that, my story Revyll is only getting better, page by page.

Observation is a powerful tool. I learn from stories I read, by simple observation of the world around me. A year ago it took me at least six tries to draw a proper human figure. Now it seems almost easy. When you realise that I've had no formal art classes within the last five years...

It seems I've hardly had time for it all with this being my senior year. West Side Story, Colleges, Senior projects... It's been rather hectic. Most of what I do is in school since I have no time at home. Seems a little backwards.

Anyway, I'm off.
